Welcome to Recura. By downloading, accessing, or using the Recura mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Recura, you confirm that:

• You are at least 13 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
• You will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws

2. Description of Service

Recura is an AI-powered running analysis and coaching platform that provides:

• Gait and biomechanics analysis using video
• Injury risk assessment and prevention recommendations
• Personalised training guidance
• Progress tracking and performance metrics
• Community features including leaderboards

3. Account Registration

To use Recura, you must create an account by providing:

• A valid email address
• A username of your choice
• A secure password

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and up-to-date information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or compromise the App's security
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
• Impersonate others or create fake accounts
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Use automated systems or bots to access the App
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the App
• Circumvent any limitations or restrictions we implement

5. Health & Medical Disclaimer

Recura is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.

• Our injury risk assessments and recommendations are for informational purposes only
• Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting or modifying any exercise programme
• If you experience pain, discomfort, or injury, seek professional medical attention
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of our AI analysis or injury predictions
• Use Recura at your own risk and within your physical capabilities

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Free Tier: Basic features are available at no cost.

Recura Pro: Premium features require a paid subscription.

• Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Prices are displayed in the App and may vary by region
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• Manage or cancel subscriptions through your device's account settings
• No refunds for partial subscription periods

7. Free Trial

If you start a free trial:

• You will have full access to Pro features during the trial period
• You will be charged automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel
• Each user is eligible for one free trial per account

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Recura are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
• Use our trademarks or branding without authorisation
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices

9. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (profile information, uploaded videos). By using Recura, you grant us a licence to:

• Process your videos and data to provide our analysis services
• Use anonymised, aggregated data to improve our AI models
• Display your username on public leaderboards (if you participate)

10. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or abusive behaviour
• Fail to pay subscription fees (if applicable)

You may delete your account at any time via Profile → Settings → Delete Account.

11. Disclaimers

Recura is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Analysis results will be accurate or complete
• The App is suitable for your specific needs

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recura and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Physical injury or health issues resulting from following our recommendations
• Any damages exceeding the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Recura harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the App or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
